510650） 摘要：物种多样性研究是生物多样性的核心内容。物种多样性与遗传多样性、生态系统多样性一起组成了生物多样性的不同层次。作者对物种多样性的概念、物种多样性的发生与维持、测度方法、时空格局与环境梯度变化特征、物种多样性的现状与有效保护以及一些与物种多样性相关的问题等方面进行了综述。发现很多方面的研究至今仍存在争议，其原因除了研究对象的复杂性外，还有一些人为的因素。物种多样性研许多领域还需要进一步深入研究。 关键词：物种多样性；生物多样性 Some questions of

of Sciences, Guangzhou, 510650, China） Abstract: The study of species diversity is the central content of that of biodiversity. Species diversity、genetic diversity and ecosystemic diversity form the different layers of biodiversity. The author reviewed such aspects of species diversity as concepts, origin and sustain, search methods, the spatio-temporal patterns、the environments gradient, present situation and efficient protect and other relative questions. Showing that there are controversial in some aspects, which is caused by some human factors besides the complexity of object studied. In all，it is necessary for many aspects of species diversity to be studied more deeply. Key words: species diversity; biodiversity
