Dr Ping Lu is a Senior Research Scientist working on physiology of tropical fruit trees. Dr Lu completed his Ph.D in forest plant biology (University of Nancy I, France) in 1992 and joined CSIRO Plant Industry in Darwin in 1994.

plants and regulation of water loss at leaf and
canopy levels. Genotypicand
environmental effects on whole-tree water relations and carbon
economy in relation to mango flowering and productivity
Indicatorsof plant water status (e.g. sap flow, microdendrometry),
water use efficiency and irrigation technology Modelingof canopy
processes involving radiation absorption, photosynthesis,
